Mac's Big Week

Not her birthday post. Yet. But still a big step in her little life.

A few weeks ago she couldn't believe that her cousin Casen would spend over a week away from his parents. But when she heard how much fun he had, she thought she might have fun too. Mac has just recently started staying and playing at a friends house by herself, like within the past few months. She slept over for the first time on a whim. We've been trying to get her to stay with her grandparents for a week all summer but she just wasn't ready. So when Casen spent a whole day telling her all the things he did, and all the fun he had, she changed her mind.

We had to go to New York one weekend anyway, and my parents were coming down the weekend after for her birthday. It worked out perfect. She spent just over a week with my parents. And didn't want to come home. Hardly missed us.

We brought a van load of peaches to Maama to can for the peach lover on the right.

We celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary while we were there.

And then we took Cam home by herself. She wasn't sure what to do with herself for awhile

Mac gave us friendship bracelets so we wouldn't forget her while she was away <3 td="">

Camryn got to stop and visit with my brother and his helicopters on the way home,

And the rest of the pics are of her time with my parents. She had so much fun!

She accompanied my dad to the doctors. Grandma said she was bored...

Mac can't wait to do it again. Go figure. Cam wandered around our house lost and crazy. She wouldn't let me leave her alone in a room and she wouldn't play by herself. Yesterday was our first whole day back together and Camryn has hardly left Mac's side. And the giggles were out of control. They certainly missed each other!
