Weeks 24 & 25

Totally slacked on both these weeks so there isn't much to share.

Week 24 was M for money. We talked about Zacchaeus, Jesus at the Temple and the Poor Woman. We just started a chore chart and spending, saving and sharing jars so it was pretty good timing. 


This is the only picture I got: A wants and needs chart. Trying to explain wants vs. needs to a three year old is quite comical but yet eye opening. 

Week 25 was Ss week for servant. It's the start of the Easter weeks and almost the end! 

We started with Palm Sunday, of course. 

We talked about Jesus washing his disciples feet, and being the Servant King at The Last Supper. We washed stinky feet one day and she thought it was great but she wouldn't want to wash someone else stinky feet, Mama does that at bath time. You betcha kiddo.

She made a collage of serving, or things that are served (i.e. supper).

We talked a lot about people who serve in our community. A doctor was one that we discussed. And while we were at Urgent Care, the nurse brought her a clip board and a coloring page which she then pretended to be the doctor, serving. She's great!

Here is her finished collage. She's quite proud of putting the Marine's on there even though she doesn't quite understand. She was thrilled that she found a picture of her Uncle Caleb. :-)
